Split Mung Bean (Split Mung Dal)
This mung dal has been hand-milled, rare today when machines are used for everything. The seeds are indigenous and grown on small farms. They are dark green on the outside, dark yellow in the inside and are sweet, soft and easily digested. Our split mung can be made into a soup or cooked with vegetables as well. Our split mung dal gives one a feeling of satiety which prevents snacking on unhealthy food between meals.
