Handmade in the Central Himalayan region, near Mukteshwar, at an altitude of 6,500 feet above sea level. 

The wheels of Parmesan cheese are aged in a controlled environment for a duration of 12-24 months. The cheese is hard and dry as a result. A lot of love and care goes into developing the cheese over such a long duration of time. Parmesan is a cheese that needs little introduction and can be found sprinkled on most Italian dishes. Owing to its strong flavour a little bit of this cheese can go a very long way in adding that special something to your sauces, pastas, pizzas, etc. It can also be had by itself, or on a cheese platter accompanied with a nice glass of wine. Old Hill cheese makers’ recommendation is to use this cheese at the very end of making your dish as heating the cheese can considerably reduce the flavour.
