On the outside the not so handsome fruit is greenish grey but rests inside this hard exterior is a soft, pulpy, sweet & aromatic fruit. Bael is one of the best fruits to combat digestive problems. It has anti-bacterial, anti-fungal properties that help control gastric ulcers caused due to oxidative stress in the gastric tract.
